"Partnerships are the best way to make progress and find lasting solutions to the challenges we face in our supply chain"

Case Studies

We work with local and global partners in the countries from which we source to help us understand the issues in our supply chain and to improve workers’ lives.

If we find difficult issues within our supply chain, our first step is to understand why they come about. Many human rights abuses, such as exploitation of workers, are linked to poverty and are widespread in some countries, regions or communities.

We research the issues, often with the help of local and international experts. We then work constructively with our suppliers, local and international human rights organisations, local governments and our competitors to address problems in a practical and sustainable way.

We believe our partnerships are the best way to make progress and find lasting solutions to the challenges we face in our supply chain. Below are some examples of our work in this area.
